THE 57th PUCCINI FESTIVAL 2011
Torre del Lago (Near Lucca), Italy - July and August
This
Festival is devoted entirely to the works of
Puccini. The operas are performed outdoors in
this lakeside spot near Lucca. Puccini chose
to settle in Torre del Lago and his former home
is now open to the public. It is crammed with
Puccini memorabilia including his clothes, his
piano and original manuscripts. There is a new
open-air theatre for all the performances. All
the performances start at 9.15pm.
