Many of our destinations have regular annual Festivals. Operas Abroad can arrange a tour/holiday to these festivals which really are a must for any avid opera fan. We have organised several tours and holidays to some of the more popular events for your enjoyment. Also, on occasion (subject to demand) we arrange escorted group tours. Bayreuth Wagner Festival - Germany

This annual festival is held in the famous theatre created by Wagner himself specifically for the performance of his own works. It is the dream of Wagner enthusiasts to hear his works at the Festival and Operas Abroad is pleased for the first time to offer tickets and travel. The tickets cannot be purchased without also booking hotel accommodation and although flights are not included in the package price we will be pleased to book flights and transfers between the airport and your hotel. Flight options between the UK and Nuremberg Airport include direct flights with Air Berlin from London Stansted. Our ticket allocation is limited and early booking of the following packages is recommended

The 56th Puccini Festival 2010 Torre del Lago (Near Lucca), Italy. July 4th 2009
This Festival is devoted entirely to the works of Puccini. The operas are performed outdoors in this lakeside spot near Lucca. Puccini chose to settle in Torre del Lago and his former home is now open to the public. It is crammed with Puccini memorabilia including his clothes, his piano and original manuscripts.

Group Tour - Rome - Friday July 10th – Monday July 13th. 2009
Operas Abroad is pleased to offer this long weekend in Rome in the splendid Hotel Pamphili. As well as opportunities to see all of Rome’s many sights this tour also offers a concert and an opera during the trip. This group tour features an optional performance of Verdi’s La Traviata and a concert of operatic arias by I Musici Veneziani. The hotel will be the four star Hotel Pamphili.
